Étienne Cadestin

Founder & Global CEO (UK)

Etienne founded Longevity Partners in 2015.  Prior to that, Etienne worked at Knight Frank, JLL and the United Nations Environment Programme (the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agendas).

Etienne has more than a decade of experience in sustainable property investment and strategy. He currently advises the largest property investment companies in Europe and is on the board of Orée, the leading French think tank on Biodiversity, circular economy and ESG reporting. 

Last year, Etienne won the EG Awards in the category ‘Future of Real Estate’. Before that, Etienne was picked to be an Estate Gazette’s 'Property Rising Star' and nominated for numerous awards as one of the most active young leaders in the sustainability and real estate industries. He regularly speaks at high-level events, giving his vision for smart cities, carbon neutral buildings, wellbeing in the work place and the future of the real estate industry.

Etienne graduated from the London School of Economics. A keen sportsman, Etienne has run nine marathons and enjoys playing tennis, sailing, skiing, cycling and golf. He is married with a daughter and a son.

Louise Ellison

Chief Commercial Officer (UK)

Louise Ellison joined Longevity Partners’ board as a senior advisor in 2019 and was appointed as Longevity Partners’ global Chief Commercial Officer in 2021. Louise heads the development of tailored programmes for our partners to achieve their current and future ESG and climate goals. As a member of our Executive team, Louise also advises the Board on strategy and governance.

Louise was previously Group Head of Sustainability at Hammerson PLC, one of the UK’s leading property development and investment companies.

 

Roger Baumann

Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee (UK)

Roger Baumann joined Longevity in 2019 as a non-executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Roger Baumann brings 20 years of business experience in Real Estate, Consulting, Product Development, IT, Finance, Sustainability and Operations. His most recent position was as COO & Head Sustainability Global Real Estate for Credit Suisse Asset Management in Zürich, Switzerland and as Managing Director for the Credit Suisse German entity, Credit Suisse Asset Management KAG, based in Frankfurt. He has just joined Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. as COO & Head Product Development Global Real Estate based in Zürich effective September 30, 2019. Roger has a Civil Engineering Degree from ETH Zurich and holds an international MBA from the State University of New York. In addition, he is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a member of the European Investment Committee of the EU-funded research project CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate monitor).

Jürgen Fenk

Member of the Advisory Board of Longevity Partners Germany (DE)

Jürgen Fenk joined the advisory board of Longevity Partners Germany in 2021. Jürgen is the CEO of Primonial REIM and has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. He is also a Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), having previously served as Chair of ULI Europe. As a member of the German advisory board, Jürgen Fenk provides strategic advice to the German and global management teams.

 

Yvon Martinet

Board Member Longevity Partners France & Belux (FR)

Yvon joined Longevity Partners as a member of the board of directors in 2021. Considered to be one of the most eminent lawyers in environmental law in France, he was notably named Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite in 2006. He is a former vice-president of the order and former member of the council of the Paris Bar Association. Yvon Martinet has solid experience in real estate law and industrial environment law, both nationally and internationally. Since 2003, he has been an expert at the French Institute of International Legal Experts (I.F.E.J.I), in environmental, natural resources and food law.

Roger Toussaint

Managing Director Dutch Office (NL)

Having been active in the field of sustainable urban development since 2012, Roger joined Longevity Partners as Managing Director for the Netherlands. He has a bachelor’s degree in Regional Development and Innovation and a master’s degree in Sustainable Development - Environmental Governance.
Roger joined Longevity Partners from OPPS, where he worked as a public procurement consultant on integrated contracts (DBFMO) for sustainable & healthy buildings, and previously worked at TNO (The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research) on low-carbon climate resilient cities. Roger has as a strong motivation to accelerate the transition towards sustainable cities through strategic advice, benchmarking and by connecting people, initiatives and innovations.
In addition to his work in sustainability, Roger is a board member of Stichting Flor Ayuda, a Dutch charitable foundation for deprived children in Guatemala. Roger is a tennis player, coffee drinker, a movie enthusiast and has a passion for photography.

Laure Ferrand

Associate Director France (FR)

Laure joined Longevity Partners as Senior Energy and Sustainability Consultant, strong of several years’ experience in Energy Performance Contracting for a large CAC40 company. She is now Longevity's Associate Director France. Having a Master’s Degree of Engineering and a MBA, she acquired skills to successfully deliver large scale energy projects. She has also pursued  3-year entrepreneurial journey before joining Longevity, adding to her business and strategic thinking skills.

Laure is an advocate of business doing good and an innovation supporter.

Anthony Maguire

Director, Longevity Power (UK)

Anthony joined Longevity in 2017, having worked previously for JLL’s Upstream team focussing on sustainability solutions within the commercial real estate sector. Since joining Longevity, he has helped to build out its core services around onsite and offsite renewable energy and electric vehicle charging deployment and has successfully overseen the installation of numerous projects. Anthony passionately believes that the clean energy transition should be viewed as an opportunity and as Director of Longevity Power, his role is to find solutions to ensure that real estate investors and commercial occupiers are able to fully realise the potential of this opportunity.

Anthony holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from University College London.

Clémence Bechu

Board Member Longevity Partners France & Belux (FR)

Clémence has a MSG from the University Dauphine Paris, and a Masters in International Project Management from the ESCP. 

She has developed a career open to the world and cultures; the 2 years she spent in China between 2002 and 2005 allowed her to discover the inherent structural link between urban and societal revolution, on a large scale, already supporting the agency on the development of local projects: the renovation of the Qianmen district in Beijing, and the extension of the city of Pingyao. With her experience and real passion for research, technology and the emergence of new markets, she trained in Strategy Consulting at Capgemini Consulting before creating and developing an innovative urban logistics start-up, " WineSitting ”.

In 2014, she decided to join the agency as Director of Development, to implement a development strategy focused on innovation and sustainable urban planning. She is implementing a project-based approach that directs the culture of the family-owned, century-old agency towards the future. Very involved in the development of biomimetic innovation alongside the CEEBIOS, within which she co-founded the Biomim'City Lab, as well as in various works related to the city's climate issues, Clémence is developing numerous new projects, all inspired by nature.

This commitment for sustainable cities has led her to become a partner of the Société Française d'Urbanisme. Clémence won the "Choiseul City of Tomorrow" ranking, promotions 2019 and 2020, as well as a director of Real Estech and member of the Mission Committees of the Frey group and of the ELAN company.

Clémence loves writing, inventing stories and poems. She is married and the mother of 2 children with whom she conducts a whole lot of experiments to satisfy her thirst for science!

Julian Marwitz

Business Growth Associate (DE)

Julian Marwitz joined Longevity Partners Germany as a Business Growth Associate in 2021. He studied law in Germany and Geneva and holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Urban Planning from the University of Oxford. He has founded his own companies which focused on energy efficiency in buildings and actively promoted the ESG goals for the real estate industry in German-speaking countries.

Julian worked as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of JLL in London, Development Manager of ECE and Business Developer for ValuStrat and Urbanomy. He regularly takes part in the World Economic Forum in Davos and in numerous Family Office events. As a Business Growth Associate at Longevity, he is responsible for the German-speaking region and is expanding a good market position.

In his private life he is also very interested in sustainability, hiking and nature.

Jehona Hoxha

Global HR (UK)

Jehona has 8 years of experience managing different elements of HR; most recently 4 years at The worlds number one in private aviation overseeing HR In UK, Europe & ME. I have a key interest in: 

  • Recruitment & selection.
  • Performance management.
  • Learning & development.
  • Succession planning.
  • Compensation and benefits.
  • HR data and analytics.

I am a strong believer that HR is a central pillar of many organisations.  All core functions are linked by a concern for employee well-being and ensuring organisations treat employees in a way that provides mutual benefit for both employee and organisation. 

In my spare time I run my own property organisation company as well as taking long bike rides on the weekend, joining HR conventions and most Importantly enjoying every moment of life!  

Douglas McKenzie

Group Finance Director (UK)

Douglas is the Group Finance Director and a member of the Risk and Compliance Committee. He brings wide ranging expertise to the day to day asset management of the underlying funds, and completion of corporate and asset transactions. His oversight responsibilities cover the finance, accounting, tax, treasury, risk management and regulatory compliance of the firm as an AIFM (Alternative Investment Fund Manager).

Douglas worked at Moore Stephens LLP from 2000 to 2012. Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 2001, Douglas provided audit and assurance services to a client base comprising high-net worth family office investment and hedge funds, shipping and real estate clients (both private and public).

Sarah Welton

Business Growth Director (East Coast) (US)

Sarah Welton’s role as US Business Growth Director draws upon her education and experience in real estate finance, public health and urban planning. At Longevity Partners, Sarah leads the business growth of Longevity Partners within the United States, focusing specifically on the east coast. 

Prior to joining Longevity Partners, Sarah spent seven years at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), where she transformed the built environment by helping create better and more valuable spaces for people and the environment, in addition to supporting the launch of IWBI's Investing for Health initiative, which aims to elevate health and well-being within the ESG landscape. 


Sarah earned a dual master’s degree in Public Health and Urban Planning from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business. Sarah is also a triathlon coach and yoga instructor, and mother to two beautiful and intelligent girls. 

 

Ding Li

Senior Strategy Consultant (UK)

Ding joined Longevity Partners as Senior Strategy Consultant. She advises clients on the development of corporate strategies, policies, and action plans on sustainability issues. 

She is a Certified Associate in Project Management through the Project Management Institute. With experience working in Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, and Paris, Ding supports companies in embedding sustainability principles into their business operations and organisational culture.

Ding is a gymnast and a science communicator in her free time. She was an honoree of 2018 “30 Under 30” organised by GreenBiz Group and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (‘WBCSD’), World Top 10 Finalists of the Famelab International in the UK Cheltenham Science Festival, and a secondary school teacher at Presbyterian International Junior High School in Wa, Ghana.

Mélanie Martinasso

Senior Sustainability and Energy Consultant (UK)

Mélanie joined Longevity in 2019 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst and is now a Sustainability and Energy Consultant. She graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne in 2015 in Environmental Sciences and Engineering.

She began her career in the construction sector as an engineer in the field of green building design and energy saving. For 3 years, she performed building audit and concept for both, new construction and renovation. She worked closely with local authorities, certificate accreditors and contractors to identify best sustainable solutions in order to reduce carbon emissions for the built environment.

Out of the office, Mélanie enjoys discovering new cultures and spending time in the wild. She loves her native mountains, The Alps, and practices hiking, Nordic skiing, running and time to time playing golf.  

Alessandro Trematerra

Senior Energy and Innovation Consultant (UK)

Alessandro joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as Senior Energy and Innovation Consultant. He has experience in energy, oil&gas and renewable sectors, reached in several corporate environments in different countries and geographical areas (Italy, Middle East and UK&I), during more than ten years. Member of Energy Institute (MEI), he has a MSc. in engineering and two postgraduate courses degree in energy and environmental fields. As energy expert and PM, he has worked specifically on solar pv projects and low-carbon technologies. He has managed several energy efficiency and energy management projects for industrial and commercial clients, guaranteeing cost and energy savings and optimising the performances of the buildings. Passionate about sustainability, innovation, smart buildings, and smart cities, he has good business sense. Alessandro is a good swimmer, tennis player and love cooking during his free time.

Olivia O'Brien

Senior Climate Consultant (UK)

Olivia joined Longevity Partners as a Sustainability Analyst in 2018 and is now a Sustainability and Energy Consultant. She graduated with an MA (Hons) in French and Geography from the University of St Andrews, specialising in climate change science and policy. Prior to her role at Longevity Partners, she worked towards developing sustainable livelihoods in rural Nicaragua, and with the United Nations Environment Program (Geneva) in evaluating their international projects, focusing on stakeholder engagement.

Olivia is a keen traveler and sportswoman, playing hockey since a young age whilst also enjoying long-distance running, skiing and trekking.

Divya Hariramani Herrero

Senior Sustainability Design & Wellbeing Consultant (UK)

Divya joined Longevity Partners in 2017 after graduating with as a Mechanical Engineer and completing a fully funded double Master’s in Renewable Energy Engineering in Lisbon, Barcelona and Stockholm, which focused on energy in the Built Environment and Energy policies.

With previous experience in the energy sector working with the likes of EOn, she is now leading all Spanish projects across the business, focusing on Energy optimisation and is developing the Health & Wellbeing service line.

Amedeo Musini

Southern Europe Business Growth Lead (UK)

Amedeo is the Business Growth Lead at Longevity Partners. He graduated from King’s College London with an MA in Environment and Development. He previously worked with the United Nations Global Compact, pursuing Sustainable Development Goals with businesses in the U.S. and in Chile.

Amedeo is a keen traveller and in his spare time he trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and enjoys kitesurfing, playing football and hiking.

Bernard d'Arche

Business Growth Associate (FR)

Bernard joined Longevity in 2020 as Business Growth Associate, after completing an MBA in Real Estate Development at the IE Business School in Madrid. He also obtained a double Bachelor degree in Economics and Philosophy from McGill University in Montreal (Quebec). Between 2014 and 2018, Bernard founded and managed his own firm, awarded numerous times, aiming to contribute to the rebuilding of the Megantic Lake (Quebec), a city destroyed by a train accident carrying 7 million litters of oil. This reconstruction was based on a sustainable development approach.

Bernard has the French and Italian nationalities and possesses an extensive international experience. He is passionate about the great outdoors, whether in the air where he practices parachuting and on land where he loves to hike.

 

Victoria Nicol

Business Growth Associate (UK)

Victoria recently joined Longevity partners as a business growth associate. Prior she excelled at a similar role for a French agricultural weather technology company.

She is excited to promote sustainability within real estate, especially since her first steps in the industry at Ivanhoé Cambridge, Canada in 2016.

Having completed a master’s degree in ecological economics from the University of Edinburgh and a trilingual BBA from HEC Montreal, Victoria is equipped with the skills required to carry out various size sustainability projects.

Victoria is passionate about horseback-riding since a young age, arts and various outdoor endeavours.

Katie Smidt

Sustainability and Energy Consultant (US)

Katie joined Longevity Partners as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst in 2021. From a young age, Katie has been a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Geography and Sociology, with a concentration on Sustainability. During her time at UT Austin, Katie interned at the U.S. Green Building Council Texas Chapter in Austin, and at the Energy Academy on the Danish island of Samsø.

 

In her free time, Katie loves spending time outdoors with her goldendoodle Ridley, reading books, and exploring new places in Austin with friends.

Benjamin Watkins

ESG Strategy & Reporting Consultant (UK)

Ben joined Longevity Partners in 2019 as a Sustainability & Energy Analyst and is today an ESG Strategy & Reporting consultant. He graduated from the University of Manchester with an B.Sc. (Hons) in Geography with International Study. He focussed on climate change and environmental issues before moving on to the University of Edinburgh to study the interdisciplinary course M.Sc. Energy, Society and Sustainability, focusing more heavily on renewable energy.

Eric Coll Costa

Sustainability & Energy Consultant (UK)

Eric joined Longevity Partners in 2020 as a Sustainability & Energy Analyst. He first graduated from UPC Barcelona with a B.Sc. in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering. After working full time as an electronics technician for half a year, he then enrolled in the M.Sc. in Energy Engineering at UPC with a focus on renewable energies. During that time, he completed an internship at Endesa, where he was part of the distribution grid’s technical project management.

He is a triathlete and in his free time he enjoys reading and learning new languages.

Anneli Tostar

Business Growth Associate (US)

As the Business Growth Associate for the West Coast of the U.S., Anneli is part responsible for building out business operations for Longevity Partners in North America.

Anneli has an MSc in Sustainable Urban Planning & Design from KTH in Stockholm, and a B.A. in Anthropology and Environmental Science & Public Policy from Harvard University. She has previously worked at The Better Buildings Partnership, where she oversaw stakeholder engagement for a collaboration of UK real estate firms, focused on sustainability. She has also worked at an ESG consultancy and a social impact consultancy. 

In her "spare" time Anneli is a professional artist but can also be found taking unnecessarily long walks around the city.

Thomas Owens

Financial Controller (UK)

Thomas joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as Financial Controller from Deloitte UK LLP. Qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2020, he provided audit and assurance services to a range of both public and private clients across multiple sectors. Thomas graduated from Durham University with a BSc in Geology and went on to obtain an MSc from Imperial College London in Geoscience.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys cycling, skiing and has played the drums in multiple jazz bands.

Thomas Lariviere

Innovation & Biodiversity Consultant (FR)

Thomas joined Longevity Partners in 2018 as a Sustainability Analyst and is today an Innovation & Biodiversity Consultant. He has graduated from the Rennes School of Business with an MSc in Sustainable Management and Eco-innovation in partnership with l’Ecole des Métiers de l’Environnement, engineering school, and a Bachelor degree in Biology.

He has previously worked on CSR topics, including 1 year as an auto-entrepreneur working on different sectors for 6 Dalkia production facilities (Risk Assessment), SAUR (Economic Footprint), GPSO (CSR assessment), and assessed the CSR practices of CEMEX France Parisian production sites. Based in Paris, he now advises Longevity Partners' clients on their sustainability strategies.

Thomas is a triathlete and hiking lover.

Juliette Mabardi

ESG Strategy & Reporting Consultant (UK)

Juliette joined Longevity in 2019 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst and is today an ESG Strategy & Reporting Consultant. She graduated from the Louvain School of Management (LSM) with a masters in Corporate Sustainable Management. For her master’s thesis, she studied the use of the Sulitest (Sustainability Literacy Test) in the master program of the LSM, and its impact on the students.

Juliette has experience in sustainability management and reporting in different sectors: energy, medical equipment and higher education.

Juliette is part of Generation T, a Belgian network of young people working towards a sustainable society. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling and discovering new cultures.

Hannah Brown

Innovation & Energy Consultant (UK)

Hannah joined Longevity in 2019 as a Sustainability & Energy Analyst and is today an Innovation & Energy Consultant. She has graduated from the University College London with a masters in Sustainable Resources: Economics, Policy and Transitions, after completing her undergraduate degree in Economics and Geography. For her master’s thesis, she researched the impact of mining in the vicinity of World Heritage Sites, working alongside UNESCO, the WHO and several gold mining companies. 

Hannah loves travelling, painting and is a huge fan of nature documentaries.

Myriam Busch

Innovation & Energy Consultant (FR)
Myriam joined Longevity Partners in 2019 as a Sustainability Analyst and is today an Innovation & Energy Consultant. She graduated from Ecole des Métiers de l’Environnement - Unilasalle Environmental Engineering School in Rennes and from a 2 years degree in biological and environmental sciences in Strasbourg University.
She previously worked on energy efficiency at Schneider Electric and on the digitizing of energy management. She also did her master thesis about the energy transition of an international distribution center.
 
She loves to travel to meet incredible people, eat pasta and do artistic gymnastics.

Eugénie Comty

Sustainability & Energy Consultant (UK)

Eugénie joined Longevity Partners in 2019 and is Sustainability and Energy Consultant. She has an engineering background and extensive experience in New Construction certification schemes. She delivered several BREEAM and LEED projects in different countries and is our BREEAM UK Assessor for New Construction and Refurbishments. She is also our internal Life-cycle assessments and embodied carbon calculations consultant expert.

Outside of work she enjoys reading, doing DIY projects and learning new languages.

Daniel Lechner

Energy and e-mobility consultant (UK)

Daniel joined Longevity Partners in 2019 after completing a master’s in Sustainability Management at ESCP Europe. Prior to his graduate studies, he studied Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews before working as a Clean Energy Programmes analyst for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company in San Francisco, where he was dedicated to electric vehicle infrastructure and time of use rate projects.

Outside of work Daniel enjoys hiking, cooking, and language classes and exchanges.

 

Faye Osgood

Sustainability & Energy Consultant (UK)

Faye joined Longevity Partners in 2019 after completing a MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change at the London School of Economics and an undergraduate Economics degree at the University of Southern California. Faye is passionate about improving the sustainability of the built environment, and previously worked for the U.S. Green Building Council.

In her spare time, Faye enjoys painting, cooking, yoga and exploring new places.

Tom Prichard

General Council (UK)

Tom joined Longevity Partners as General Legal Counsel in 2021.  He previously worked for law firms Olswang and Russell-Cooke where he specialised in corporate and commercial disputes as well as environmental law.  

 

Tom is a keen triathlete and a long-suffering West Ham season ticket holder.

Ika Jones

Account and Operations Assistant (UK)

Ika joined Longevity in 2020 as an Account and Operations Assistant. She is an ACCA qualified accountant and has a history of working in the financial services industry. She has extensive experience in working in high-pressure environements and excels in delivering financial analysis and presentations.

Marie Linderoth

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (DE)

Marie joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst. She graduated with a double bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Human Ecology from the University of Gothenburg. Her Master studies was pursued at the University of Graz and the University of Venice, resulting in a double master’s degree in Sustainable Development and Global Environmental Change.

She has previously engaged herself as a volunteer in local sustainable development issues in rural Fiji villages, where she was leading in developing a pilot recycling programme in one of the villages. Before joining Longevity Partners, Marie undertook a European Commission Blue Book traineeship at the European Environment Agency in Copenhagen.

Marie is a keen traveler and loves meeting new people. In her free time, she enjoys visiting art galleries, learning Italian and French, reading, painting and spending time in nature.

Nicole Bortfeld

Climate Analyst (UK)

Nicole Bortfeld recently joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a climate analyst after graduating from the University of St Andrews in Scotland with a degree in Environmental Earth Science. For her honours research, she focussed on paleo-drought reconstruction in western Europe using dendroclimatology.

 

Nicole is a first generation American with family in Germany and Taiwan. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new recipes, exploring the city and going to the gym

Kanon Tsuda

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (UK)

Kanon joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst after completing a MSc in Human Rights and Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Through her research and activism works alike which centres around environmental welfare, she has consistently been engaged in the sustainable development discourse. For her master's thesis, she investigated the Belt and Road Initiative's network of pipelines and railways in order to assess international responsibility in maintaining an ethical global supply chain parallel to economic growth.

In her free time, Kanon loves to cook and bake. She also enjoys musical hobbies, including playing the violin and guitar, and was part of an acapella group during university.

Theo Meslin

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (UK)

Theo Meslin spent most of his life on the island of Bali, in Indonesia, where, he grew up with a love for nature and a passion for sustainability. After finishing a B.Sc. degree in Aerospace engineering, he decided to follow his passion by taking a M.Sc. degree in Sustainable Energy Technology. This led to him working on a project to bring sustainable development to rural farming communities in Indonesia, before joining Longevity Partners as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst.

In his spare time, Theo enjoys cycling, doing calisthenics and playing bass. He also loves to travel and discover different cultures and ways of life.

PIERRE-EMMANUEL BOUTREUX

Sustainability & Energy Analyst – Longevity Partners France & Belux (FR)

Pierre-Emmanuel joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst. He graduated with a BSc. in Business Administration from IE Business School and an MSc. in Sustainable Resources: Economics, Policy and Transitions from University College London (UCL). After a first experience as a commercial consultant in the defence industry, he volunteered in the field of agricultural sustainability. This last experience encouraged him to pursue a career in sustainability.

His interest for the energy sector was reinforced by his Master’s degree dissertation entitled: enablers, barriers and necessary regulatory conditions for Peer-to-Peer energy trading development, a case study on Colombia. Pierre-Emmanuel is a keen traveller, skier, and scuba-diver. He feels at home in nature and strongly believes in biomimicry as a golden path towards sustainable innovation.

Clair Kasel

Marketing, Communication Assistant US and Personal Assistant (US)

Clair recently joined the Longevity Partners team at the Austin office working as the Marcom Assistant US and PA to Etienne Cadestin. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Communication. While attending University, she studied in both London and Florence to educate herself about how communication and marketing are impacted by various cultures.  She is passionate about giving back to the community and has interned with nonprofit organizations as well as volunteering with children in the foster system. Clair is excited to join the sustainability movement.  In her free time she loves to travel, ski, hike, practice yoga, and be with her family and friends. 

James Okoshken

Communication and Marketing Assistant (UK)

James joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as Marketing and Communications Assistant. He holds a BA in Sociology and Psychology from McGill University, and  an MSc in Business Psychology from University College London. He previously worked in the plant-based food industry in the US, which sparked his passion for developing a career in the sustainability movement. In his free time, James is an avid cook and guitarist, and loves spending time with his friends and family.

Ralf van Santen

Sustainability & Energy Consultant (NL)

Ralf joined Longevity Partners in 2020 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst. He holds a BSc in Architecture & Engineering and a MSc in Sustainable Business & Innovation. His previous research and consultancy experiences span various sustainability topics, including circular economy. 

Ralf has been playing hockey from a young age. He has an eclectic taste in music, films and books. Additionally, he enjoys the outdoors.

Gabriela Palma

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (UK)

Gabriela joined Longevity Partners in 2020 as Sustainability Analyst. She graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in May 2020 with majors in Public Policy Analysis and Sustainable Business. She has several years of experience in consulting and corporate strategy for non-profit organisations in the U.S. and Latin America. She recently spent six months studying Green Corporate Strategy at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

She is a pianist and world traveller, and in her spare time Gabriela enjoys reading, the outdoors, and anything related to the arts.

Clémence Verdickt

Sustainability Analyst (FR)

Clémence joined Longevity as a sustainability analyst in 2020. She graduated with a masters in Management and Corporate Sustainable Development from EM Lyon Business School. For her masters thesis, she worked on assessing suppliers’ sustainable practices within the supply chain. Prior to her role at Longevity, she worked on sustainable and CSR issues for Klépierre.

Clémence is also a keen traveller as well as a great admirer of the mountains, practicing climbing and skiing whenever possible.

Sophie Hazza

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (UK)

Sophie joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst. She holds a BA in International Relations from Florida International University and MSc in Urbanisation and Development from the London School of Economics. For her master’s thesis, Sophie researched elements of sustainability in the Medellin Metropolitan Greenbelt Mega-project, exemplifying the power of socio-spatial integration and urban resilience in a rapidly changing climate.

While pursuing her BA, she studied abroad in Costa Rica, Spain, and China. Upon graduating, she worked on local economic development projects in Colombia with the U.S. Peace Corps. Passionate about social justice, she published an e-book in 2019 on the resilience of 5 Venezuelan migrants she connected with while living in Colombia.  

Sophie enjoys learning about different cultures and histories through traveling, reading, and watching documentaries. 

Fiona Halpin

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (UK)

Fiona joined Longevity as a Sustainability & Energy Analyst in 2020 after completing a MSc in International Strategy and Sustainability. She wrote her thesis on the changing landscape of non-financial reporting; diving into corporate ESG practices in a Nordic context. The objective was to expand the understanding of how listed companies are navigating the changing standards of ESG reporting. Before joining Longevity, Fiona completed an internship at Nasdaq working with their ESG Data Portal and developing the Nasdaq Sustainable Bond Network.

In her spare time Fiona enjoys the outdoors, yoga and meditation. In fact, she is a certified Mindfulness Mediation teacher.

Olaf Amersfoort

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (NL)

Olaf joined Longevity Partners in 2020 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst. After his BSc international land and water management, he obtained his MSc degree in Urban Environmental Management. He has experience with issues in the field of energy supply, wastewater treatment and sustainable mobility. Olaf has completed an internship at Witteveen + Bos in the field of circular economy. For his master thesis he studied nature-based wastewater treatment systems as part of the LOTUS project in New Delhi, India.

Olaf likes to spend his spare time outdoors. He loves hockey and football. He is also a big fan of mountain biking and enjoys travelling.

Christopher Wehbe

Energy Analyst (UK)

Christopher joined Longevity Partners in 2020 after completing a MSc in Energy Systems at the University of Oxford. As part of his master’s thesis he delved into the role of power and carbon markets in reducing emissions in the UK. He previously completed his undergraduate studies at University College London in Mechanical Engineering while focusing on entrepreneurship and renewable energies.

Before joining Longevity Partners, Christopher undertook an internship at Générale du Solaire where he took part in the engineering team to develop various solar projects across the world.

Christopher is a keen traveler and loves being outdoors. In his spare time, he likes skiing, cycling and running.

Lize Festers

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (UK)

Lize joined Longevity Partners after completing a master’s in climate change science and policy at King’s College London. She previously completed a master degree in ecology at KU Leuven. Before joining Longevity Partners, Lize undertook an internship at the Climate Policy Initiative where she tracked sub-national climate finance and analysed cities’ budgets.

During her free time, she loves travelling, hiking and learning new languages.

Carson Smith

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (US)

Carson joined Longevity Partners in 2020 as a Sustainability & Energy Analyst. She received a B.S. from UCLA with a major in Environmental Science and a minor in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Carson previously worked as an Environmental Legislative Aide in the Texas House of Representatives, producing statewide emission reports with the intention of drafting a master climate plan for the state of Texas. 

A proud Texan and prouder Austinite, Carson is an avid yogi, a true crime documentary fanatic, and an amateur collage artist. She enjoys exploring vintage stores, hiking, and most genres of music — ironically, everything except for country.

Talula Belle Thibault

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (US)

Talula joined Longevity Partners in 2020 as a Sustainability & Energy Analyst in the U.S. headquarters in Austin, TX. She studied Ecosystem Science & Policy, Geography, GIS, and Economics at the University of Miami (FL). In college, she led a 50+ member branch devoted to environmentally-proactive initiatives and kickstarted various programs, including the expansion of recycling at Greek life events, incorporation of EPPs in the campus bookstore, and implementation of an annual plastic-prevention and -education day. She also served on the student representative board during the University’s design and building of its Lakeside Village dormitories, which are certified LEED Gold. She has previously worked as a marketing specialist for a California-based environmental consultancy, and as a clean energy consultant in the northeast.

Talula is a LEED Green Associate who strives to be a LEED AP one day.

Talula adores traveling, gardening, meeting new people, hiking, reading, and watching pro sports. In her spare time, she goes plogging (picking up litter while jogging).

Joel Gehler

Sustainability Analyst (FR)

Joel joined Longevity in 2020 as a Sustainability Analyst. He holds a BSc in Human & Physical Geography and an MSc in International Business Management. He has previous experience in sustainable and inclusive mobility within the public transport sector, where he developed and implemented the CSR strategy for a large multinational transport group.

Joel is a keen music fan and vinyl record collector who enjoys listening to a wide range of genres. He relaxes by playing guitar and reading. He is also a passionate rugby and cricket supporter.

Alice Teboul-Boquet

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (UK)

Alice joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as an Energy and Sustainability Analyst. Prior to working at Longevity Partners, Alice was as an Individual Contractor at the United Nations Environment Programme in Montreal, Canada. She received a Masters of Science in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where her thesis focused on the way multinational corporations report on biodiversity through their sustainability reports.

Prior to her Masters, Alice completed two internships in the sustainability sector of a world-leading multinational corporation where she primarily developed life cycle assessments and at the United Nations Environment Programme, where she analyzed materiality matrices of sustainability reports to understand companies’ best practices on biodiversity conservation and sustainable use.

During her free time, Alice loves to bake, play tennis and do yoga.

Elliot Ikenna Ogbechina

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (UK)

Elliot joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability & Energy Analyst. He obtained a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna, where he worked with a team to develop an indigenous Solar Powered Car.  Before obtaining his masters in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2020, Elliot had previously worked as a Project Officer in a Renewable Energy Company in the Nigerian Capital. He is experienced in designing backup systems for various buildings using Renewable sources and carrying out Energy Audits across multiple industries.

Elliot is recognized as a young African Leader by the Barrack Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), an organization striving to achieve the SDGs in Africa, due to his efforts in educating children on the importance of Sustainability and the implementation of Renewable Energy during many voluntary outreaches.

Elliot is a devout Arsenal fan. He loves rock climbing, video games and volunteering.

Victoria Patyna

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (DE)

Victoria joined our Munich office as an Energy and Sustainability Analyst in 2021 after graduating from UCL with a master’s degree in Sustainable Resources: Economics, Policy and Transitions. Prior to that, she obtained a BSc in Planning and Real Estate, also from UCL. During her studies, Victoria completed internships in the property industry with Savills in London and Colliers in Poland.

Victoria is passionate about water sports. She worked as a windsurfing instructor for 5 summers, was actively involved with her university Surf Club and recently took up kitesurfing. 

Miriam Borgmann

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (DE)

Miriam joined Longevity Partners as Sustainability and Energy Analyst in 2021. After a bachelor’s degree in European Studies from the University of Passau she continued her studies, graduating from a degree in M.Sc. Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). In her studies she focused mostly on renewable energies and circular economy. She worked as a student trainee for multiple environmental organizations and the sustainability department of Siemens Energy.

Miriam is passionate about music. She enjoys concerts and sings in a choir herself besides playing the guitar and the piano. Miriam loves doing outdoor sports, especially rock climbing and sailing.

Clodagh Cant

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (UK)

Clodagh joined Longevity Partners as a Sustainability & Energy Analyst in 2021. After graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 2017, Clodagh has worked as a structural engineer in both the UK and Sweden. With a strong belief that engineers have a critical role in cutting carbon emissions across the built environment, she focused her career on sustainability consultancy in 2020.

Clodagh loves travelling, and has so far lived in 5 different countries. Outside of work, she also enjoys reading and restoring vintage furniture. 

Tom Gibbs

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (UK)

Tom joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability Due Diligence Analyst. He previously worked at an industrial-focused strategy consultancy, advising private equity funds on M&A deals and growth strategy across a range of sectors, including oil & gas, automotive and power rental. He holds a Master’s in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, where he specialised in Chemical and Environmental Engineering. For his thesis, he assessed the sustainability of a novel adsorption technology to be deployed across the Ganges Delta that removes arsenic from drinking water.

In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, cold water swimming and listening to experimental music. He’s also a passionate Chelsea fan

Nour Al Halawani

Sustainability Analyst (FR)

Nour joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a sustainability analyst after completing a master’s degree in project management for environmental and energy engineering and a BSc in Environmental health. For her master’s thesis, Nour worked on onsite wastewater treatment in buildings at the CSTB in France. Prior to this, she completed an internship at the UNDP in Lebanon, where she worked on a project that aimed to improve environmental management strategies in the country.

In her free time, Nour enjoys hiking, painting, and cooking.

Océane Tonsart

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (FR)

Océane joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability Analyst. She graduated from ESILV and EMLV with a double degree in energy engineering and management. Prior to her role at Longevity Partners, she worked for a sustainable development consulting firm as a junior consultant. In particular, she has worked on projects relating to photovoltaics, electrical and electronic waste, and sustainable cities around the world.

 

Outside of work she enjoys reading, traveling, and dancing.

Sujay Sairam

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (DE)

Sujay is passionate to facilitate the energy transition for governments and businesses, by providing an interdisciplinary solution at the intersection of policy, technology, and business. As an engineer, he approaches problems analytically; as a political scientist, asks the relevant questions that need solving. With a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and three years of demonstrated technical experience, his will to engage with issues at the political level drove him to complete MSc Politics and Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

 

Previously, he has contributed to the development of the Vienna Energy Forum 2020 at the UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and consulted with European clients about their climate-related disclosures for the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) at Futurecamp Climate GmbH. He has frequently championed the cause of energy transition at different public forums. He was invited as a "Young Climate Innovator" by the World Bank Group for their Innovate4Climate conference in 2021.

 

He enjoys being amidst nature – be it long walks in the neighborhood, running, hiking in the Bavarian alps, or playing table tennis in the park. He is an early bird who begins his day with Yoga and loves to discover other people’s thoughts, realities, and observations (books).

Lies Lucas

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (NL)

Lies started at Longevity Partners in 2021 as Sustainability and Energy Analyst. After completing her BSc. in Global Sustainability Sciences, she graduated at Utrecht University with an MA in History of Politics and Society. For her thesis she performed a comparative research of the European Union and the United States on sustainable development policies. Lies likes to spend her spare time with friends and family. She also likes to read, plays the piano, and likes sports, such as skiing and snowboarding.

Kirsten Hendriks

Sustainability & Energy Analyst ()

Kirsten Hendriks started in 2021 at Longevity Partners in the Netherlands as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree from the University of Leiden in Governance of Sustainability. With the knowledge and skills gained during her study, research, and internships she can easily be the bridge between data and sustainable strategies that fit the international framework.

Her spare time she uses for theatre, either visiting or creating it. Besides that, she likes to be active in nature on a bike or walking.

Pia Hecher

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (DE)

Pia joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst. She is a former Fulbright Scholar and received her MA in Middle East Studies (University of Chicago) and a BA in Political Science (University of Cambridge). Pia previously worked at the Austrian Foreign Ministry, where she assessed climate policy among other things.

Pia grew up between Austria, the United States and Brazil. Asides from playing basketball, she enjoys listening to Bossa Nova and reading American science fiction - ideally in a Viennese coffeehouse.

Floris van Neer

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (NL)

After completing a bachelor’s degree in Sustainability in Utrecht, Floris wanted to do a more technical masters study. He did this in Amsterdam, at the AMS Institute: Metropolitan Analysis, Design & Engineering. Here he focused for 2 years on the built environment and the complex environmental issues which are present within our cities. He finished his masters with an internship at the Dutch Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL) where he looked at the possibilities of increasing the building density near park fringes in the Netherlands.

In his free time, he likes to be creative: making music, watching movies, going on a stroll with his camera or cooking up non-Dutch recipes in the kitchen.

Giuseppe Branca

Sustainability and Energy Intern (UK)

Giuseppe joined Longevity Partners in 2021, after completing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Energy and Nuclear Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin, and during his MSc in Management at University College London (UCL). He is passionate about sustainability and energy management. During his studies in Italy, he worked as an energy engineer at a local energy company.

 

In his free time, he enjoys cooking and football.

Steffi Mola

Intern - Sustainability Analyst (FR)

Steffi joined Longevity Partners as an Sustainability Intern in 2021. Currently studying engineering in renewable energy and energy efficiency at ESIEE Paris, she obtained a scientific baccalaureate in Engineering and completed a two years preparatory school for the Grandes Ecoles in L'Ile de la Réunion. This enabled her to take an interest in matters of energy management.

She completed two internships, in the energy management and expenditure of a community, mainly focused on the issue of transport, and in the energy efficiency sector.

In her spare time, Steffi enjoys reading, cooking and hiking to discover new trails.

Maxence Astier

Intern - Sustainability Analyst (FR)

Maxence a rejoint Longevity Partners en tant que Stagiaire - Analyste Développement Durable en 2021. Il a étudié les énergies renouvelables et les marchés de l’énergie à l’INP Grenoble, précisément l’ENSE3 (école nationale supérieure de l’eau, l’environnement et l’énergie) après une classe préparatoire à Valence, sa ville natale.

Il a travaillé, lors d'une année sabbatique en Australie, durant 3 mois dans une mine puis a voyagé dans le pays durant les 3 mois restants.

Maxence est fan de fitness, de cardio, de randonnée et est toujours partant pour découvrir de nouvelles activités. Il aime voyager pour découvrir de nouvelles cultures, personnes et lieux et fait de la guitare.

Ivana Mandic

Sustainability & Energy Analyst (NL)

Ivana joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as Sustainability & Energy Analyst. She studied Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and holds a Master's degree in Industrial Ecology from the Delft University of Technology and the University of Leiden. During her master's degree, Ivana learned to look at complex sustainability issues in an integrated manner and to solve these issues from social, environmental and technical perspectives. She has gained skills and experiences in the fields of sustainability, Circular Economy, circular business models, Life Cycle Analysis and Material Flow Analysis. 

Ivana has been practising karate since a young age. In her spare time, she writes blogs about sustainable living and is committed to students in the field of Chemistry. Ivana also enjoys doing sports, practising yoga and being with her family and friends. 

Henri Labat

Sustainability and Energy Intern (UK)

Henri joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability and Finance Intern. He holds a BBA in Finance from Temple University in Philadelphia, USA, and an MSc in Management and Corporate Sustainability from Cranfield University in the UK.

Additionally, Henri is passionate about the Environment, the Economy of Knowledge, the Blue/Circular Economy, as well as understanding how sustainability and the economy can best combine. He will focus his thesis on how the green bond market can finance a greener real estate industry, and he will analyze the greenwashing in sustainable investments.

Henri is a “scratch golfer” and played at a high level. He likes to spend time discovering new places, getting out of his comfort zone, socializing, and improving his swing. But most of all, he is eager to start a meaningful career in sustainability.

Éléonore Gourdain

Sustainability and Energy Intern (UK)

Éléonore joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability and Energy Intern. She holds a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations from Queen Mary University and a M.Sc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics. 

Éléonore has worked for a year in the European Parliament before completing her masters degree and will focus her thesis on the opportunities and challenges of the European Union environmental ambitions. 

She enjoys skiing and outdoors sports, and is always eager to travel. 

Louis Schilders

Sustainability and Energy Intern (UK)

Louis joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability Intern. He did his undergraduate at Durham University gaining a BA(Hons) in Ancient History and Archaeology. His postgraduate was an MSc in Environment and Development at the London School of Economics. The main themes of which were environmental regulation & policy and international development. His master’s dissertation was on the use of ‘reconstruction’ as a facilitating myth for Belgian development agency infrastructure projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

 

Louis continued to pursue his interest in sustainable development at Gigawatt Global, a solar energy developer with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa, where he spent 4 months working on a 15-megawatt project in Mozambique.

 

Louis enjoys rowing in his spare time and likes a visit to the British Museum.

Tom Sharp

Sustainability and Energy Intern (UK)

Tom joined Longevity Partners in June 2021 as an intern. He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2021 with a masters in Natural Sciences, specialising in Physics, having taken optional masters courses on Renewable Energy, Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Change.

 

Tom has experience in a number of teaching roles, including teaching science in the UK and in China and running a Model United Nations General Assembley event focused on climate change mitigation. Before joining Longevity Partners, he was captain of Pembroke College's rowing club. Besides rowing, Tom also enjoys running, stargazing and tango dancing.

Nadine Gruben

Intern (NL)

Two years ago, Nadine completed the BCs in Human Geography and Urban Planning. After this, she chose to gain work experience at a real estate developer before starting a Master's degree. Here she became acquainted with the sustainability challenges within the sector and she found it so interesting that she decided to develop herself further in this area. That is why Nadine now works part-time at Longevity Partners NL as an intern. Besides that, she is also pursuing a MSc in Policy, Communication and Organization. Everything she learns about organizational development and change she tries to apply in practice at Longevity Partners.

In her spare time, she enjoys sports, travels, organizes dinners for friends and family and is learning to surf.

Amandine Bernhard

Sustainability Analyst (FR)

Amandine begon in 2021 bij Longevity Partners als duurzaamheidsanalist. Ze is afgestudeerd aan de CentraleSupélec-Universiteit van Paris-Saclay en EPF met een dubbele graad in Bouwwetenschappen en Engineering. Tijdens haar studies werkte ze eerst als betontimmervrouw op de werf om uiteindelijk stage te lopen bij Eiffage Construction om een CO2-arme strategie voor bouwstructuren te implementeren. Van jongs af aan houdt ze ervan mensen te helpen en drie jaar geleden realiseerde ze haar droom om een schoolklas te bouwen in Atiho, een klein dorpje in Togo. 

Ze houdt van out of the box denken, lacht graag en leeft voor Italiaanse muziek, Zumba en haar eigen creativiteit.

 

Sixtine Humann

Intern (FR)

Sixtine joined Longevity in September 2021 as a working student. Prior to that she completed a degree in Management at the Sorbonne University in Paris. After an internship in Zambia at the French Embassy where she was in charge of rethinking waste management in the country with various local actors, she decided to complete a Master in International Development at King's College London with a specialisation in Sustainable Development and continued developing her interest in this topic with her Master’s thesis, in line with waste management in Africa. 

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kite surfing with friends and spending time with her family. 

 

Ana Vanessa Tong Cálix

Analyst Intern (DE)

Vanessa Tong was born and raised in Guatemala in a family of second-generation Chinese immigrants. After attending an Austrian Highschool, she decided to study in Munich, Germany where she recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in management. Now, Vanessa is looking forward to exploring new areas in the sustainability sector. Vanessa is very excited to join the Longevity Partners team in Germany aiming to grow not only personally but also professionally. 

In her spare time, she plays badminton at a competitive level. She also enjoys acrylic painting as well as learning new languages and cultures.

Rebecca Horn

Marketing and Communications Intern (UK)

Rebecca joined Longevity Partners in September 2021 as a Marketing and Communications Intern. Rebecca has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism and culture from Brunel University London and is passionate about literature, climate change, women's and animal rights. During her time as a student, she has written various news articles and blog posts for diverse media outlets.

If she is not on her desk, you will probably find her craving food, reading books, or going for long walks. 

Kitty Greenwood

Climate Analyst (UK)

Kitty joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Climate Analyst after having completed her Master’s degree in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, and her Undergraduate degree in Geography at the University of Sussex with a year in Environmental Science at Northern Arizona University. For her Master’s thesis, she developed a decarbonisation calculator for companies to understand both their carbon footprint and their potential decarbonisation trajectories in line with national policies and regulations, in order to explore and set net zero targets. 
Prior to her MSc she worked as a Clean Energy Specialist in renewable energy utilities and has undertaken two internships in solar energy, one in Indonesia. 

Kitty is a keen advocate of all things outdoors, loving to travel and spend time camping and hiking.

 

Ashlan Hustava

Ashlan attended the University of Tulsa and received a full scholarship to play on the University of Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team. She graduated there in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She then got my Master of Science from Durham University in New and Renewable Energy. Her thesis investigated the potential of interchanging the heat transfer fluid inside a domestic radiator from water to a different fluid, such as a micro-encapsulated phase change slurry, with better heat transfer qualities to decrease household energy consumption for heating.

Ashlan really enjoy energy optimisation and all things to do with renewable energy. In her free time, she likes to go on long runs, read Stephen King, travel, and go to the cinema.

 

Miquel Nijsen

Sustainability and Energy Intern (UK)

Before joining Longevity Partners as a Sustainability and Energy Intern, Miquel completed his Master’s degree in International Development: Climate Change, Environment and Sustainability at The University of Manchester — after also having spent time studying at Leiden University and The University of Leeds. For his Master’s dissertation, he researched the inclusion of traditional ecological knowledge in climate science and policy.

Miquel likes to spend his spare time hiking in UK’s many national parks, going to music concerts and playing and watching football.

Yeanitza Gottschalk

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (DE)

Yeanitza joined Longevity Partners as Sustainability & Energy Analyst in 2021. After having completed her BSc in Physics at the Technical University of Munich, she obtained her MSc degree in Energy and Environmental Sciences from the University of Groningen. Her master thesis was part of a Colombia and Dutch bilateral governmental program that studies and provides Colombia with a strategy of becoming an important player in a bio-based economy. In her thesis, she built a model to analyse the price and future availability of biomass for energetic uses, considering the future projections of factors such as demographical and consumption changes, food security, agricultural production, and its technology development. After her studies, she volunteered at the Pieterburen Seal centre in the Netherlands rehabilitating injured or orphaned wild seals. 

Yeanitza is a world traveller who has recently discovered her love for capturing scenic landscapes and local cultures on tape. In her free time, she likes dancing, skiing, and doing all kinds of DIY projects.  

Stefano Capacci

Sustainability and Energy Analyst (UK)

Stefano joined Longevity Partners in 2021 as a Sustainability and Energy Analyst. A graduate of UCL and the Montpellier Business School, Stefano studied Development Economics and then Environmental Finance, gaining a masters in both. He has experience in NGO management having worked in the third sector and ESG consulting for an energy company as well as SMEs. Stefano’s academic research has focused on the systems of incentive that drive markets to make optimal decisions. For his theses he wrote about the feasibility of the social enterprise model in creating parallel returns for multiple bottom lines, and subsequently about carbon markets’ ability to correctly price climate change-related externalities. His passion now is creating an impact through his work, working on the BIU service line he hopes to contribute to the decarbonisation of the built environment.

Stefano’s interests range from volunteering to endurance sports. He enjoys good books, old music, and cooking at home.
